Bottles

What type of glass is used in PureFree bottles?

PureFree water bottles are made from borosilicate glass, rather than the more commonly used, and cheaper to produce, soda-lime glass. Borosilicate glass is stronger, more durable, and offers greater resistance to temperature changes, making it a great choice for portable glass water bottles.

Could the glass break?

PureFree bottles are made from borosilicate glass, which means the glass is strong, however it’s still glass so you should take care. Our bottles are also encased in a silicon sleeve for added protection. The Amico provides extensive coverage whereas the Alto has 4 windows in the silicon sleeve, revealing bottle contents.

How should I store my bottle?

PureFree glass water bottles are hand-made, making every bottle unique, so there may be small differences between bottles. Like all water bottles, we recommend they are stored upright. Please store bottle and lid separately when not being used to enable each part to dry completely.

How do I get the tightest lid seal on my Amico bottle?

To ensure your lid seals with suction, put the lid on, pinch the lid on one side with 2 fingers and push the top down at the same time, to expel any excess air from the bottle.

How do I remove the lid on the Amico?

Use your thumb to push the lid from the bottom of the lid to the top. It should lift fairly easily. The lids are always harder to remove when the bottles are empty. If your bottle contains water, turn the bottle upside down to allow a small amount of water into the lid to loosen the seal. The lid of the Amico is designed to be fairly tight to reduce the potential for leakage.

How do I wash my PureFree bottle?

PureFree bottles can be hand-washed or placed in the dishwasher, top shelf only. To ensure your logo lasts a long time we recommend hand washing the bottle.

Do I need to remove the silicon sleeve to wash my PureFree bottle?

You do not need to remove the silicon sleeve to wash your PureFree bottle. You can place your bottle in the dishwasher (top shelf) or hand wash with the sleeve on. The lids are also dishwasher proof (top shelf), however they are obviously small so you’ll need to place them in a basket so they don’t end up falling to the bottom of the dishwasher. Alternatively, just hand wash the lid.

Can I put my own logo on the PureFree bottles?

Yes! Pease refer to the Corporate Gifts section of our website. In short, PureFree bottles make the perfect employee or corporate gift: a premium gift that is eco-friendly, good for your health and used every day ensuring longevity of brand awareness. To ensure longevity of the logo print, we recommend hand washing the bottles.

Quality

All PureFree bottles are inspected prior to shipment. Every box is opened and checked. We are thorough although not invincible so if you believe your bottle has a manufacturers defect, please get in touch at info@purefree.com.au or call us on 0411 854 822.

Shipping

How much is shipping?

Shipping is a flat rate of $5 per bottle, Australia-wide. Shipping is free for orders of 2 bottles and over.

Which shipping address should I use?

Please use an address that is safe for your package to be left, or where someone will be there to receive it, for example, a home where packages can safely be left unattended, or an office.

PureFree can ship orders as ‘Signature Required on Delivery’ which means you will need to sign for the goods, or go to the Post Office to collect them. Please make a note if you would like us to ship your goods as ‘Signature Required on Delivery’.

How long will it take to get my bottles?

Retail orders will leave the warehouse within 24 hours. Shipping time on custom-branded corporate orders will be advised at time of order placement. Deliveries are made via Australia Post. Standard retail delivery is approx. 3-4 business days. Your order may arrive before or after this, depending on your postcode’s distance from our warehouse in Sydney, NSW.

Do you ship overseas?

Unfortunately PureFree does not ship outside of Australia.

Yes. Please contact us at info@purefree.com.au or call us on 0411 854 822 to discuss orders in excess of 10 bottles.

What payment options are there?

PureFree offers two payment options: PayPal and Credit Card.
